Located in Rock, overlooking the Camel Estuary and Porthilly Beach, the newly refurbished St Enodoc Hotel occupies one of Cornwall's most iconic coastal settings.
Now part of The Ainsworth Collection, the hotel, led by celebrity chef Paul Ainsworth and his restaurateur wife Emma, has undergone a significant transformation, creating a destination designed for both visitors and the local community to enjoy throughout the year.
The refurbishment has introduced two new dining concepts alongside a range of event spaces that make the most of the hotel's spectacular coastal setting. The hotel's restaurant has been extended and reimagined as the Estuary Grill, celebrating the very best of Cornwall's land and sea. Warm timber flooring, rich leather banquette seating, contemporary furniture and large windows create a bright, relaxed yet sophisticated dining environment overlooking the Camel Estuary. Alongside this, The Flour Garden offers a relaxed outdoor dining experience, serving food and drinks in the beautiful outdoor area throughout the warmer months. An expanded terrace and dedicated al fresco dining area allow the hotel to accommodate more guests during the busy summer season, maximising capacity while taking full advantage of the estuary views. The outdoor space is complemented by 'Monsieur Maurice', a vintage French dining van serving guests enjoying the gardens and terrace from March to October.
Alongside the new dining concepts, the hotel offers two versatile event spaces. The Oyster Salon is a 100-seat function room designed to host weddings, corporate events and larger celebrations, combining classic panelling, statement lighting and soft neutral finishes to create a refined and welcoming atmosphere. The Porthilly Pavilion, with sweeping estuary views, elegant interiors and bi-folding glass doors, offers a bright and versatile setting for smaller events, private gatherings and wellness activities such as yoga and pilates.
