Trinity Arms

Liberation Group set out to completely reinvent the Trinity Arms with a huge refurbishment to create a new destination and local drinking and eating venue. The brief was to create an open plan bar/dining area and maximise the potential for a theatre kitchen and bar servery. To do this we removed most of the walls to the main ground floor area and exposed all the original cast concrete structure which led the design throughout to have a industrial edge whilst retaining the comfort of a cosy pub.

New timber flooring was installed throughout including a feature tiled bar apron and inset rug. The site was layered with textured and patterned upholsteries, vintage furniture and a selection of industrial style chairs and tables. The lighting was bespoke throughout with reclaimed factory pendants and crystal chandeliers. Bespoke timber tables and zinc table tops feature throughout the dining area.

The dining area was broken up by the use of fixed seating and shelving allowing for the incorporation of planting and decorative accessories.

A new kitchen was formed with a viewing window directly into the dining area, whilst a complete new double sided bar servery was installed in the centre of the room with details from antique brass and glass with hanging glass storage and decorative glass pendants.

The original fireplace was clad with reclaimed timbers utilising the original boards that were hiding the concrete structure beneath.

Feature artwork added the modern colours and reflected the local area and history. We used this to create full walls of imagery in key areas.

The bar area utilised vintage refurbished lounge seating and high bar tables for multiuse. Feature table tops included bespoke engraved steel tops with maps of the local area.

New French doors were installed to enhance the front elevation of the site and create a window into the bar area, showcasing the feature artwork and high seating with bespoke parquet table tops.

The toilets underwent a complete refurbishment featuring Victorian tiled flooring details and new sanitaryware throughout.

The external area was enhanced with new booth seating, poseur bench seating clad in reclaimed timber. The whole rear area was supplied with astro turf and a new gas fire took pride of place as a focal point to the rear garden. The garden was finished with new cushioned seating and festoon lighting. A new planting scheme allowed for multiple potted trees and planting troughs creating a luxurious garden area.

The external of the building had a full decorations and signage scheme including a bespoke external function bar unit.

The Trinity Arms is now a charming, traditional pub and eatery located in the north eastern parish of Trinity, just around the corner from the world famous Jersey Zoo.
