Working with John Blakeman Interior Design, we have fully refurbished the iconic Toll House Inn. Marking a new chapter for the building, the refurbishment honours its legacy while creating a revitalised space for both locals and Lancaster city tourists to enjoy.
Designed around the high ceilings and large stained-glass windows, the Toll House is famous for, the space has been given a completely new lease of life. The refurbishment focused on preserving its charm while giving it a refresh, and we have done just that. Think cosy nooks for guests to settle into with a pint, plus a brand-new bar with timber and verdigris copper finishes, classic wall panelling, eclectic artwork, and a bespoke dining room carpet, with each detail reflecting the inn’s rich Lancastrian roots.
It was a pleasure to work on this much-loved venue with John Blakeman Interior Design and Thwaites. Over the five-week fit-out, we have created a refreshed space that is ready to welcome guests for many more years to come.
