This venue is the city’s second Lost & Found in Leeds following on from the success of the Greek Street Venue. Concorde BGW restored the 19th-century building, with its high ceilings and intricate cornicing, adding the brand’s signature style of a theatrical botanical hideaway with a Victoriana feel.
The famous secret bar and restaurant were re-built as well as a new first floor restaurant space. The toilets in the basement were updated – changing the gents to the ladies and adding a range of new fixtures and fittings.
Due to the status of the building much of the interior space couldn’t be altered so dressing the already magnificent building was at the heart of the refurbishment. There are antique brass touches and elegant white marble with the comfort of high-end plush velvet and leather furniture. We installed the grandest planting scheme yet to reflect the theme of this site, based around a fictional character Mr Benedict Pike who was a professor of medicine that got lost in the jungle.
In the words of Professor Benedict Pike ‘Life is for the living and that’s precisely what we should all do.”
Lost & Found Leeds Club is the fourth in a successful line for the Revere Pub Co. Last year Concorde BGW completed an extensive design and build project for Lost & Found in Knutsford, transforming a Grade II Listed, former town hall into. Beautiful avant-garde site. We were delighted that Lost & Found Knutsford was named the Best Restaurant/Bar in a heritage Building at the 2017 Restaurant and Bar Awards.
