The renovation has provided a 40-cover restaurant, bar, snug and private space for dining and meetings. The bar has a cosy pub feel with seating booths and benches, bespoke coffee tables and sofas combined with a motley of accessories including vintage books and quirky bric-a-brac.
Whilst carrying out build works to the snug and bar area an old boarded out chimney was discovered and knocked back to create a working fire place.
The newly formed rear garden has created more outside space for dining and socialising, it accompanies the existing courtyard, both of which have heating and lighting to provide year-round outdoor seating.
An extension to the main house for toilet facilities was essential in allowing The Clive Arms to properly accommodate their new customers. The Clive Arms forms part of the Ludlow Estate which also has a café, farm shop and garden centre.
The project was completed after works were carried out to the main façade which had a new door and window repairs. The cosy, traditionally decorated hotel, bar and restaurant is now one of the most attractive venues in Shropshire and is a great place to base yourself when exploring the countryside.
