The Castle Inn wanted to keep the bar as the focal point standing proud in the centre of the pub. We created the new bar using salvaged wooden panelling and added additional wooden fixed seating opposite the bar.
The dining area was extended, decorated and furnished with further traditional wooden seating and unusual bric-a-brac and paintings.
Alongside the main pub area all 12 of the rooms have been individually designed to create a laid-back luxury feel with unique touches and sleek en-suite bathrooms. We used timber headboard or hanging back pads in above the beds and unique antique desks and bespoke lounge chairs to furnish the rooms.
The Castle Inn describes the end result as “under the picture-postcard thatched roof is a charming bar, relaxed dining room and 12 gorgeous boutique bedrooms. It has a laid-back atmosphere and feels like a home from home”.
