The Blacksmiths Arms is a traditional inn full of character and enjoys a prominent position on the market square of Thirsk. With thick exposed beams, flagstone flooring and some low ceiling associated with a building of this age, this charming site attracts a range of customers throughout the week including those attending Thirsk Racecourse.
We designed 2 cosy snugs for the trade area which look out onto the busy town square, whilst a central bar servery with a new back-bar fitting provides for all rooms. To the rear is a function room which could double as a separate dining room, and this faces the beer garden to the rear of the property.
We paid special attention to the toilets creating some very quirky and memorable facilities for customers to use, on the walls of the toilets you can find some unusual and very entertaining artwork.
