The event consisted of a group stage tournament with the group winners going through to the championship Knock Out Finals. The teams that don’t qualify go through to the Plate Cup semi-finals and the Plate Cup final. The aim of the event was to help raise awareness and money for Dementia UK and all the amazing work that they do. It was also a great opportunity to get lots of suppliers and contractors together for a friendly match and a catch up – we certainly enjoyed a few pints and a bbq at the end of the match!

Despite dusting off their boots and scoring a few good goals, Concorde BGW didn’t come home with the Plate Cup. We did however contribute nearly £400 towards the grand total of £2350 which was raised by the event for Dementia UK.
