FM Accounts Assistant

A fantastic opportunity is available for a FM Accounts Assistant to join our friendly team in our FM office in Nottingham. We are a growing design, build and reactive maintenance company working predominantly in the leisure and hospitality industries as well as commercial and public sectors.

 

 

 

You must have excellent organisational and communication skills, a passion for numbers, be able to manage a varied workload and work well unsupervised and as part of a team.

 

 

 

The role will assist with:

 

 

 

·       Contract/Project Analysis –

Creating monthly performance figures for various contracts

 

 

·       Month-end Processes-

     Preparing financial statements and support the creation of management reports and budgets.

 

 

·       Communication with key stakeholders-

Discussing performance and variance to budget

 

 

·       Reconciliations- 

Performing various reconciliations, including balance sheets and intercompany accounts.

 

 

·       Data Entry-

Checking internal Purchase Orders, Processing of purchase invoices, creation of sales invoices and submission onto client portals.

 

 

·       Debtors-

Establishing relationship with external parties and assist in resolving account queries and recovering overdue debt

 

 

 

Required Skills and Experience:

 

 

 

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       Proactive and motivated individual with the ability to problem solve, prioritise and take ownership of tasks and work to tight deadlines

·       Excellent attention to detail

·       Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in Job Logic & Service Stream ideal.

·       Willingness to enrol in professional qualification i.e. AAT

 

 

 

This role is based at our Nottingham office with excellent staff facilities, free parking and free tea & coffee.  This position benefits from 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays), additional days for long service and paid leave while the business is closed over the festive period. We are looking for someone to work full time, 35 hours a week between our core hours of 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.

 

 

 

Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on experience.
