Due to further expansion, we’re increasing our maintenance team and are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and helpful person who ideally is experienced as a multi skilled maintenance engineer to join our Nottingham team. Successful applicants will have good communication skills, excellent time keeping and will be able to work in a professional manner ensuring all work carried out is done so within the health and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a customer facing environment.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance work for these areas – Joinery, tiling, basic plumbing, decorating, plastering, basic roof repairs as well as other various works as required. Joinery is a large portion of the work so excellent joinery skills are essential. The following is also essential:

•Good analytical/problem solving skills

•Able to work effectively both as part of a team and individually, completing reports and filling out paperwork as required

•Good communication skills and attention to detail

•Basic admin skills to complete time sheets etc

•A full, clean driving licence

We cover a wide area so driving will be a big part of the job. A company van, phone, iPad and workwear will be provided, however candidates will be required to provide most of their own tools.

Candidates must be flexible and reliable as jobs dictate and they must be available for evening, night and weekend work on a rota basis with extra pay on top of basic wage.  Although not essential it would be advantageous to have the following qualifications:

•Asbestos Awareness

•Working at Height

•PASMA

•Manual handling

If necessary training can be made available for these qualifications for the right candidate.  We are offering a package of a basic salary up to £30k, depending on experience, with overtime and additional pay for out of hours work.  We also offer 20 days annual leave per year plus bank holidays and paid leave over Christmas, a company pension with an employer contribution of 3% and an extensive culture programme with many perks including Westfield Health, company nights out, fabulous Christmas party and an annual day at the races.
