Housed in the grand, Grade II-listed former Royal Bank of Scotland building, and inspired by the elegance and exuberance of the 1920s, it will offer an immersive, all-day experience where heritage, hospitality and modern comfort meet.

Last year was particularly successful for Concorde BGW, with the Doncaster-based company winning not one but two prestigious Fit Out Awards. What’s more, the celebrations are set to continue well into 2025 too, as the business marks 35 years of operation.

High Corner Inn scored 9/10 in The Telegraph review of the venue.

This characterful 17th-century inn is everything you want from a historic British pub. Dark wooden ceiling and wall beams, large stone fireplaces, wooden boards with antique carpets and leather buttoned armchairs create a homely and warm atmosphere.

The Peacock at Rowsley has featured in Boutique Hotelier due to reopening after its refurbishment.

Recent updates, led by Concorde BGW, have enhanced the interiors while preserving the venue’s historic charm.

Ranged across two floors, the well-equipped rooms leave the usual seaside clichés in favour of a country-house feel and a fresh but not overpowering sense of colour. All have at least a king-sized bed, made with lush, closely woven Richard Haworth bed linen. 

Clearly, Pier House wants you to be pleasantly surprised when you open your bedroom door.

Industry veteran Richard Wilson, managing director of Concorde BGW Group, was honoured with the prestigious Fit Out Leader award, recognising his significant contribution to mentoring and developing senior talent within the sector.

Working with Heartwood Inns and the main contractor, we have lovingly designed the hotel to restore its former glory, blending period charm with modern comfort.

And it is impressive. Like so many modern on-trade venues with space at their disposal, the Heartwood team have created distinctive zones for all styles of hospitality – a pub, a lounge, a restaurant, a hotel – all blending seamlessly into one another through subtle light and atmosphere transitions, capturing multiple opportunities of custom from each visitor.

The Punch Bowl has undergone a full redecoration throughout, refurbishing and upgrading the loose and fixed furniture, installation of a new artwork scheme to all areas, a new back bar fitting on the ground floor; alongside new external signage on the main entrance elevation.

Hotel Designs’ nationwide campaign to find the top designers, architects, hoteliers and brands in Britain saw our very own Sophie win the Rising Star of the Year Award. The judging panel gathered to sift through more than 130 individuals and brands becoming shortlisted finalists!

The 11 gutsy bedrooms definitely don’t hold back. Decorated in postbox reds, bubblegum pinks and bobby blues, they have an art deco-lite theatricality including flamboyant wallpapers, eye-catching furniture such.

Gone are the days where a few picnic tables would have been acceptable, the outdoor space needs to be considered and dressed as you would indoors.

Concorde BGW’s completed project The Half Moon at Herne Hill has recently won the Griffin Award from Fullers for being the best Fullers pub of 2019.

The Bedford received an 8/10 rating from The Telegraph after Concorde BGW carried out its multi-million pound refurbishment, the rating is much higher than ratings of other hotels in South London.

Yorkshire Magazine reviews the Lost & Found in Sheffield saying the place as a cosy and nostalgic feel thanks to the botanical and industrial design influences. 

We were shortlisted in the 2019 Club & Bar Design Award category for our work on The Pitcher & Piano in Sheffield and in the 2019 Hotel Bedrooms & Suites Design Award for our work on The Bedford.

The Guardian writes about the UK's top 50 hotels and B&Bs and have featured two Concorde Projects, The Royal Oak and The Castle Inn, stating they are 'a destination in itself'.

The Lost and Found even looks great from the street. You can’t miss the fact that the theme is agriculture, courtesy of Ms Darcy, and you can’t help but smile when you step inside. The effort which has gone into the decor and feel of the building is impressive.

The interior design, led by Concorde BGW, is striking yet intriguing. “Our new bar is very sleek and modern, but has quirky little touches here and there, with lots of millennial pink! We get complimented most on our neon P&P sign which dominates the downstairs bar.

Once a Victorian hotel in the heart of Herne Hill, iconic south London boozer The Half Moon became a place of pilgrimage for music fans - everyone from Frank Sinatra to U2 played on its stage.

This beautifully restored south London pub has fabulous rooms, a great vibe, and some top ales. 

In October 2017 we completed a very unique project where our client wanted to create a self-service drinks establishment. The venue, Another? Wine Bar has just won the award for The Best Drinks Venue in Nottingham.

Sophie Oldfield, Designer from Concorde BGW, shares insight into the creative process at Ingleside House and how the design evolved from mood board to modern day wow factor.

Award-winning design and build specialists, Concorde BGW Group, will unveil one of their first lifesaving defibrillators on the 25th July 2022, which will be installed in an accessible area in the Hyde Park area of Doncaster.

Concorde BGW worked with Arkell's Brewery to open the first pub in Swindon in over 20 years.
