The Stonehouse Hotel is located near the charming market town of Hawes, surrounded by an abundance of beautiful British scenery, this Grade II listed building has had a phased refurb to the Bar, Private dining room, informal lounges and three bedrooms.
The biggest part of the project was removing the existing bar and relocating it to the main entrance area by removing a wall and opening up the space. In keeping with the character of the building we deconstructed a historic four-poster bed which we utilised to make the frontage of the bar servery. Where possible we have tried to source geographical artwork locally. The artwork in the bar area includes a cross stitch of the building itself, which has been put in the main entrance as you walk in as a talking point to guests.
Three bedrooms have been beautifully updated, and they are the perfect place to unwind after a day in the dales.
